IMessages I want to turn off?

So I have unlimited texting. And I just want to turn my iMessages off only because I don't want people to know I have an iPhone cuz every time people want to FaceTime and it's just annoying.So I'm just wondering if anything will happen I know it will just send as a text message but is there really a point in having iMessages if you have unlimited texting and it won't count against your plan if I text using regular texting

Will updating my iPhone 3GS delete everything on it!

I have an iPhone 3GS and I want to update it to the latest iOS so I can download the newer apps. When I try to download on it says it will delete all of my apps and media on my iPhone. Some people say it will restore it back after the update but why doesnt it say it anywhere on the message that pops up? Anyway I'm one click away from updating… will it delete all my stuff?

My laptop isn't picking up Internet?

So my wireless is turned on, I'm currently connected to it on my iPhone, iPad and my sisters laptop. However, when my laptop searches for Internet, it shows neither my wireless, or my neighbors which is also discoverable by my phone (although locked). What can be the problem? I have Windows 7, it used to work and find the WIFI, then in an attempt to put a password on my WIFI, I'm guessing I must have changed the settings? Any help? Thanks!

IPhone safari won't open some web pages?

I have the iPhone 5 and all of a sudden I cannot get certain websites to open that I frequently use. I had someone else try to access them on their phone and they opened fine. I get the message that safari stopped responding because it cannot find the server. Can anyone help please?
