Okay so I'm about to start my sophomore year in college and last year I had my first experience with a roommate. It was not good at all. She seemed to dislike me for no reason. When we first met I was cordial and tried to talk to her and she would never make an effort. So I got use to sharing a room with a silent stranger. This year I wanted things to be different. I found out who my new roommate was as soon as they told us and the next day I texted her to introduce myself. However, she never responded. From the looks of her social media she seems like a nice respectable girl. She is very into "peace and love" but isn't it odd that she does not have the courtesy to just say hello back? My text message was really non chalant and friendly but I just don't understand why it seems like she s ignoring me when we have never even met. What would you do in this situation and what do you think I should do? Thanks for your help!
Extra info: I believe she received the message because we both have iPhone messaging and it said "delivered".
