Hacktivated iPhone 3G won't accept SIM card?

I hacktivated an iPhone 3G with redsn0w without a sim card and it opens up fine, however when I place a sim card in it, it doesn't react at all and I can't make calls or anything. What do I do?

ITunes vs Rhapsody, best way to listen to music?

Okay so just got the iPhone 5 and I use it for everything! I need to figure out the smartest way to purchase music! I do listen to a huge variety of music including many different bands. 10$ an album is a lot and instead if spending hundreds of $ for albums isn't it smarter to have an unlimited amount just for 10$ a month? I understand I will not own the music but its not like I want to transfer it to an iPod or something. Also what is the selection of music like on rhapsody, will I be able to get albums from more indie type bands… What are you experiences/advice? What do you use?

Why Siri won't function well in Israel?

Well I had an iPhone and an iPad for a really long time and I never used Siri before. From reason I decided to check it out and it barely does something. Whenever I ask " I'm hungry" or "find me a pizza place" all it says I can't find you restaurants in Israel.It doesn't show directions as well. All it can do is tell me the time!!! What's the point of it then!

What deletes when you sync an iPhone to a new computer?

I got my iPhone last year and had it synced to my laptop, however after a problem with the software everything was wiped from my laptop and new software was installed. I tried resyncing my phone and it says that it is already synced with another computer. I don't mind having to put all my songs back on as it is quite easy for me to do so, I was wondering what else deletes when you sync an iPhone to a new computer, for instance contacts, messages, photos, etc? Why are internet ads becoming increasingly similar to the pop-ups we all hate?

They give me an X, so you'd think I could click out of them, but instead they just redirect me to another website.

They give me this "Help! Help! Save the Iphone from being flushed down the toilet! And then you win it!!" It's annoying as hell, comes with a an annoying toilet flush sound effect, and cannot be clicked out of, save for refreshing the page.

I just want to enjoy some internet, maybe I have a virus. I couldn't tell you, because very suspicious looking ads telling me I have a virus, or my PC is about to crash, keep popping up!!! Why hasn't it crashed yet!

Please, if any of you have dealt with this monstrosity of an annoyance and done away with it, let me know.

IPhone can't send picture messages and iMessages over wifi?

My phone used to be able to send and receive picture messages through wifi connection. Now it can only do it if 3G or E is turned on. This never used to be the case. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks for the help.

Iphone 4 won't read the Sim!

Recently my iphone broke due to water damage, I fianlly got a new one second hand of a mate free of charge, the phone was orginally on orange but I'm on 3 network, I took it to the store to see if it was unlocked and they checked it and told me it was, he then put my 3 sim into the iphone and told me it wouldn't read it, so I thought it was because maybe it had got wet from my old phone came intact with water due to dropping it down the toilet, when I got home I tried putting the orange sim back into the phone and it wouldn't read it, it would come up with SIM Failiure or invalid sim at the top, I tried my 3 sim back in it and I ggot the same message, iv put my sim into my sisters iphone and it read it fine, so now I'm worried if its a fault or not?
Can some please help me? Can I fix it? Is it the sim, a fault, or just the pphone and settings? Please need help asappp! Thank you

The Internet on my Verizon iPhone stopped working, why?

About a month ago I ran out of my monthly data, which is normally not a big deal because it resets on the 25th of every month, but for some reason this entire month of July it has not reset. Whenever I leave a place with wifi I am not able to access the Internet on my iPhone. Why is this? What should I do? I have Verizon.

I have a business idea which i believe could be successful but it all depends on the consumers thoughts.

How many people do you know who have taken their Iphone to the apple store to get it fixed to find it will cost them up to £160?

Well my business idea is fixing Iphone screens online. Basically what would happen is the customer would visit the website, then select which type of iPhone they would like to fixed and pay via their credit card.

The main selling point of this business is that the cost will only be £30.

Once they have paid, we will send out a delivery kit which will include a prepaid padded box which they simply place their iphone in and send away. They will recieve their Iphone completely fixed within 3 days.

I have did some research and there appears to be no other companies on the market which offer this service.

Basically what i want to know is would you be willing to send away your iphone 3 days, but save up to £130?

Phishing Websites in my E-Mail?

Hi Guys now I got a real problem, first I was in the Email Application thing in my Iphone, and saw a warning from Yahoo! that it says I will get my account permanently deleted if I dont update it, but the Iphone didnt give me a warning it was a Phishing Website, then I went to my computer to go check on it, and Google Chrome warned me its an Identity Theft Mail, so I got scared since my PSN account, my Facebook account, and im scared im gonna get hacked and my money stolen in them.help me pls on a way to avoid it and what I should do now to avoid them hacking me.

My careless brother dropped my Iphone outside i dunno how the screen didn't crack but the power button got stuck, so i tried to get it loose again but it fell out altogether and there is a hole there but the button still works when you press it down, I ordered a new one off ebay but i have no clue how to attack it, do i need to take the phone apart or something? is there any instructions online?

Why do some religious people shun science?

Science has given us cars, aeroplanes, the iPhone, and computers. Religion has given us 9/11, the 2005 London Bombings, Al-Qaeda and the Holocaust. I realize that science has also given us things like the Atomic Bomb and religion has gave us answers to questions we could not answer thousands of years ago but science has done majoritivelly good things while religion bad. People say religion helps people find a place of belonging when in reality that was there all along.

IPhone earphones play quietly?

Whenever I use earphones with my iPhone 4S I have it on full volume yet it plays really quietly, and when I use the side buttons is says high volume and the end squares are red, what's happening? I've used a range of earphones so I know it's definitely the earphone jack.

Why cant itunes start a backup session with my iphone?

When i hook up my iphone via USB, itunes automatically does a sync and backup but recently i've gotten the notification that itunes cannot backup my iphone because a session cannot be started. Also, my ios 7 beta 1 just expired so currently, i cannot get in to my phone- long story short, is there any way to fix this back up problem without having to change anything on my phone? Also I've read that it helps if you uncheck 'sync over wi-fi' on itunes; i did this and it didnt help.
Added (1). I want to backup so that i can downgrade back to ios 6.4.1.do i still need to get a registered UDID?

Problem with iPhone 4 after installing iOS 7?

Some time ago i downloaded the uTorrent iOS 7 for my iPhone 4 (I know it is illegal, and I know it would be a risk - maybe my phone would break down or something like that, so pointing out it was stupid I downloaded the uTorrent version is pointless now) and one night i woke up by the light on my phone.

I looked at it and the screen was all white with a black apple (it has always been black with a white apple) and after a while my lock screen showed up. I tried to unlock my phone but instead of unlocking it, a grey box turned up around the "slide to unlock" and then a voice read out loud what was in the box (so the voice said "slide to unlock"). Then i touched on the clock and again - a grey box around the numbers and a voice saying the time.So, basically everywhere i touched a grey box around the area i touched would appear and a voice reading what it says, it even said how much battery was still left and the name of my WIFI.

I later figured out that if i clicked twice quickly at the "slide to unlocked" the phone got unlocked and it showed me that i should plug the phone to my iTunes. I did it, but nothing happened.My phone couldn't synchronize as it always could (even after I updated to iOS 7), and on my phone appeared a white background with a small black text saying: Your phone isn't activated, please download the newest version of iTunes and plug it in again.

The problem is now that I already have the newest iTunes, and still nothing happens. I can't do anything with my phone… I can't even restore it or downgrade it or anything else…

I really want to know if someone else has had the same problem with their iPhone? Or maybe some of you know what I should do? I was thinking of taking it to the store where i bought it, but since it isn't running the original iOS it should run, they will not/can not do anything about it… (And sorry if there is some misspellings, I'm from Denmark, so it isn't the best english, but I hope you understand my problem!)

Ok, so I currently have the Iphone 5 through AT&T. Great phone, have had no problems. I pay $85 a month for 450 mins, but I have 5, 000 rollover minutes… so Im good there. However, I really like the Samsung Galaxy S4 as well. Verizon is unlimited talk and text and 4g of data for a little over $100 after taxes.AT&T says if I stay with them they will take $20 off my bill for 6 months, making my grand total $65/month after taxes… They also say that in a couple more months I can switch over to the Galaxy if I want for the discounted price with a new contract.Am I being stupid for considering Verizon? What sounds like the better offer?

Worried about my history on my Mac?

I had a MacBook (old version) and used to visit some inappropriate websites to watch some videos. I may have also used my iPhone to take a few pictures to send to my significant other.As far as I know right now, I've deleted all my safari history and images on iPhone. I will be getting a new MacBook and new iPhone shortly.My dad will be assisting me with making sure my music, photos, and school files are on the new devices. What I'm worried about is him finding out that I've been doing those inappropriate things. How can I make sure he doesn't find out about the videos I've seen and pictures I've taken? More specifically, does my hard drive, icloud, or SIM card have anything to do with it?

Downloaded iOS beta, and iphone won't plug into radio USB?

Before, I used to be able to plug my Iphone 4 into the USB slot in my car radio and it would play my music through the car speakers. I recently updated my phone to iOS 7 beta. Now, whenever I plug it in I get a buzzing noise, or nothing at all and the radio sometimes says "no file" instead of giving a song name or saing "iphone- read." (even when it says Iphone-read it sometimes just buzzes."

Before this update, I had absolutely NO problems with this, so i'm convinced that they're related.

I met this guy online 3 weeks ago, don't judge or say its unsafe. I was on omegle just to talk to someone because I was bored & he came across for the same reason. We got talking like we knew each other as friends, usually I never find people I can just talk to on omegle & I gave him my number which I NEVER give out. We've been texting since the day after we met, except once 3 weeks ago since he got his phone taken away. He's been texting first most of the time literally before I'm about to text him. From what I know he's a really sweet & down to earth guy. On the 10th we were having a normal conversation & he never replied back to the last text I sent. We were talking about senior pictures so it wouldn't have been something I said that would've offended him or whatever. I texted him hey! on the 11th he didn't reply & he usually does. He doesn't seem like the one to just stop talking like other people I know. He always seems to apologizes when he doesn't reply soon & says goodbye when he has to go.Do you think he got his phone taken away again? We are both 17. We snapchatted once or twice (he doesn't have an iPhone, he used a relatives phone to snapchat) & he is who he says he is. I'm kind of falling for him because he's not a pig or douche bag. Emotional cheating.separation?

I have been with the same girl for 10 years. We have been married for four of those. Her last boyfriend before we met cheated on her, and when we first started dating she told me the reason she didn't trust men was because of him. However she would still talk to him and ask him for advice about our relationship, which I didn't like. I told her how much I didn't like him and that I didn't want to see him around. A few years into our relationship while she is at college, she goes to some social events with him. She later told me that he was pursuing her and trying to win her back, and that she was lonely because I wasn't spending enough time with him. When she told me this I got upset and thought about ending it, but she assured me it was in the past and over. A year or two after this incident we got married.

So imagine my surprise when I find out just a few days ago that last December a few days before Christmas she had a yahoo conversation with him where she was talking to him about things they could do together in the city, including seeing a burlesque show, and her attitude with him was flirty, such as calling him "silly panda", and asking if he wanted her to clean his apartment for him.It floored me, and when I confronted her and asked her if she was still talking to any guys she said no. I had to tell her about the conversation I found. She said it was innocent and they were just friends, and that she never did anything physical with him. I eventually got it out of her that she was talking to him from December-May of this year, and that they hung out on a few occasions. She said he helped her buy computer parts at a store once and she went rollerblading with him and his girlfriend on another occasion. She kept emphasizing the fact that he had a girlfriend who was aware of my wife being "friends" with him. I don't know any of these people and can't verify this one way or another. She then told me she has also been playing words with friends on her IPhone with this guy, which means she would have been laying next to me on the couch and playing games with this guy. The only reason she eventually stopped hanging out with him was that her best friend kept telling her it was "wrong".

The whole thing makes me sick. She knew I hated him, and that I didn't want her hanging out or talking to him since he was an ex-boyfriend. The fact that this all happened behind my back and reading the conversation where she is telling him about her day and being cute with him makes me want to puke. We had 10 years. How the hell could she do this? I finally got her to admit it was emotional cheating, and I told her it pissed me off because she always told me how much she hated cheaters. She started crying and saying she wasn't that kind of person, and she was being selfish and dumb, and she needs to change, and she loves me, blah blah blah.

So I told her I want three months of separation to get away from her and let my emotions cool down so I can make a better decision about if I want to stay with her or not. I keep alternating between anger and hurt for her betrayal of our wedding vows and sadness at losing everything I had worked for with her. The thing is too, we weren't a perfect match before this and she would be hella stubborn and fight me on a lot of things.My family pretty much hates her now, so there's that.

Has anyone gone through anything like this? And before anyone says there was something I did to cause her to reach out to her ex several different times, I will tell you right now I was trying to make my marriage/relationship with her work. I was going to counseling, taking her on more dates, talking to her more.It actually started to feel like the harder I tried the more unappreciative she got.As soon as I told her I knew she had been talking/hanging out with this other guy and I was leaving she started begging to have me back and telling me how much she loved me.

Currently I use iPhone 5 on AT&T unlimited everything, drive a new BMW, eat out a lot, drink Starbucks everyday, etc.

How to wirelessly turn off my iMac?

I have an apple remote and with the app XBMC opened I can wirelessly shut down my computer with the apple remote. I just wanted to know if there was a way I could turn it on? If there was an app available maybe on an iPhone or iPad? Or if I can buy something that can allow me to do this?

Why wont my iphone 4s connect to my home wi fi?

A couple days ago my internet completely reset itself so we called optus and they said its because we have an old modem (theyll be sending a new one soon) but we got our internet working again, although its under another name, and a new password.now i cannot for the life of me connect my iphone4s to the wifi.ive tried going to setting>general>reset net work settings.that didnt work at all.can someone please help me, its driving me crazy ive tried everything!

I downloaded ios 7 and would like to remove it, but I need a developer account?

Hello. About 2 weeks ago, I found a youtube video that showed me how to install ios 7 for my iPhone 5 without a developer account. I regret doing so and would like to remove it, but iTunes will not let me connect my iPhone without a developer account.Is there a way I can get around this? Please help!

I have completely restored the phone & synced with a new icloud account.
Is it safe to connect to Wifi with? Or is he able to see the location seeing as it had been synced with his own icloud.
