IPhone no connection available for non internet WiFi setting?

I have a few devices that connect to the phone via WiFi given off by the device. It will connect to the network and then pop up with no connection available and disconnect. I assume since it is not an actual internet connection my phone is not allowing it to stay on the network. Is there a way to change this setting or bypass the problem?

Should I get my child a cellphone?

My 7 year old son recently told me that he wants an iPhone, the first thing I asked him was "why?" He said because all his friends have phones and because they look fun." I grew up in the 90s and I played with toys, not iPhones so it was really sad to see him asking me this. He already has an IPad which his father bought him, and he is addicted to that so getting him a phone might be worse. And he insists on getting the newest iPhone, I have no idea how he even knows about iPhones, he even knows the prices. I guess he might search that up on his iPad? Anyways, what should I do? He wants it for his 8th birthday which isn't until September 7th, so I still have time to think about this.

I have a big problem, i cracked my iphone screen and my home button and didn't fix it until a year later, i didn't fix my iphone for a year,?

By this time, i have forgotten my password to unlock my phone, which led to my iphone disabled and linkin it to itunes. Finally remembere my password on itunes connected the usb. And itunes said, do you want to allow access info on iphone? Click continue. Then says please respond to iphone.Tho nothin cause its locked. I don't know what to do, because the photos on my iphone are precious to me and if i could get it factory reset id lose them all. Even tried icloud. With no sucess. Help? 😩

My iPhone says that my Notes is taking up 1.79 GB of storage. I only have 3 notes, and there isn't a lot of text in them. How do I fix this?

Recently there were a lot of notes on my phone, but I deleted most of them until there were only three notes left. However, my phone still says my Notes takes up 1.79 GB. I tried writing a really lengthy note to see if the GB would go higher, but it didn't change. I don't want to delete my three remaining notes, which have very little text in them. I doubt that these notes are taking up 1.79 GB. What is the problem here, and how do I fix it?

IPhone7+ doesn't show certain contacts?

when I search a contact it doesn't show up but on call log it shows name as saved. When i ask Siri to call, it does. It isn't an update issue, it's been like this for ages

Why should I do about my eyes?

I've never had any eye problems before, until yesterday. I'm only 17, and I went yesterday to get a physical for a sport I play. Everything was fine until I took the eye exam. The fourth and fifth rows were both where it started to get blurry, and I ended up failing the test apparently at first. She made me retake it, and said she would pass me if I went to see an actual eye doctor. I'm not freaked out over this is just confusing. I've always been told I have 20/20, and I repeat never have any trouble seeing things or reading long distance. My mom said she didn't start wearing glasses til she was my age. That would calm me, but she now has very bad cataracts in both eyes. I don't think she is taking me seriously about setting up an appointment as soon as she can. I'm honestly not quite sure what I'm asking. I'm just a little confused considering this is the first time I've ever had issues with my vision. I mean I can read perfectly fine, and have not had trouble seeing things far away or up close. I think it might be how often I never wear sunglasses and how often I look at my iPhone. I stare at it many hours each day, and even stay up late late at night in the dark staring at it close to my face. So maybe over time I have developed Mysopia, or strained vision maybe? If it helps my Dad has always had great Vision, and still didn't start wearing reading glass until recently at age 45. All 4 of my grandparents wear glasses as well, but they are well over the age of 70.

Doesn't backing up Iphone data also backs up photo, app document data, music, and be transferred when restored?

I've back upped my Iphone to my compute encrypted but for some reason, i restored it but none of my photos are being transferred as well as my app data, only the app it self being downloaded with no data inside i should of backed up.
Why is this happening?

How do I get iPhone name title in my name?

I bought a phone on ebay with a cracked screen. I had erased the previosu owners information off the phone (because they had not done it) and I submitted a repair request for apple. I filled it out with my name. I got an email later on with the previous owner's name on it about the repair. I'm assuming that Apple had determined with the serial number or IMEI that he was still the owner. Is there anyway to change this?

I just unlocked my at&t iPhone 7 Plus and switched service providers?

I'm on iOS 11.1.2 and have Electra v1.0.4 installed, verified, and trusted. The phone needed to be rebooted in the unlock process. Every time I press the jailbreak button in the Electra app, the screen turns black with the spinning progress wheel it usually does except now it's stuck on this screen for a very long time until I force reboot the phone. I've followed instructions such as killing all apps, putting it on airplane mode, disabling Siri, and rebooting the phone and it still hasn't worked after many tries. I've given it a long time to do its thing, (more than 10 minutes), but it still stays on the black screen with the spinning progress wheel. Please help, thanks.

Do you think is too much for an 8 year old? She's very responsible and very polite. Even more than her parents. Sometimes she puts us to shame. I just hope her friends don't start being mean to her because she has a phone this early. Will other parents look at us like we're idiots for giving her a phone this early? I hope the phone doesn't distract her at school. She's a A and B student. I'm getting pernoid right now. Part of me feels like it was a mistake. But she has it now and you know kids.
