How can you unlock an Iphone 6s without a home button?

My friend lend me his phone until mine was fixed. Since its his old phone, he doesn't remember the password and the home button doesn't work so I wouldn't be able to factory reset it. Is there anyway I can reset the phone? Would I have to take my friend to Apple to get it unlocked?

Does the read receipt feature on Iphone glitch sometimes?

My question is: Are read receipts truly accurate or do they glitch up often with others as well? ( I do realize my trust issues are horrible and I might not be in a place to be in a relationship still. Which is why I'm reconsidering if I should remain in the one I'm currently invested in to heal, to give my boyfriend some time to reevaluate if it is really me he wants to be with, as I can imagine how much it hurts to love someone who doesn't have your full trust.)

Hi,

Is there any way on earth that I can download music to my iPhone and then play it without connecting to the internet?

At the moment I'm using those music apps which let you play and search for music. You can also create playlists but it doesn't work without an internet connection.

Random iPhone text I didn't send

My phone says I sent my mom a text at 6:07PM yesterday but I didn't! It also sent a picture of a drawing I did that was in the "recently deleted" album. It also said "Lol" with a blank text above it. I didn't send this, how did it do this? It's creeping me out tbh. One time my brother came in my room and texted my mom to be funny while I was sleeping and I did have my phone next to me last night. I have yet to ask him if he did it but what's really weird is that my mom didn't reply. She would've told me she liked my drawing and it was really good but nothing was said… Did she even receive it? Please help this is so weird…

Instagram face filters won't work?

For the past month or two the face filters you can put on your story have not been working for me. I have some of them but not any new ones. I have two accounts and one of my accounts has the new face filters but the other doesn't. My phone is an iPhone SE. I have tried signing out and signing back in, deleting the app, restarting my phone and instagram is updated. I don't really know what else I can do. Does anyone have any suggestions or has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.

Is APPLE getting desperate?

A few years ago I worked for Apple and during my time with them they stressed that their products were so good that they did not need to advertise them to sell them.

I must admit I went home after hearing that and could not remember seeing or hearing any advert for Apple products.

Now they are everywhere. Why?

Is it because the world has finally caught on and realised they can buy a better product for a fraction of the price apple charge.

When I worked for them they gave me an IPhone 6s to try out and give my opinion and then I could keep it. I already had a Samsung. My Samsung cost about half of what the IPhone would. I never used the IPhone after the trial and stuck with the Samsung, the IPhone is in a box somewhere upstairs.

Are apple so desperate that they realise people are turning to Samsung or other companies and secretly know that their products are not worth the money so they have been forced to advertise them to try and win back confidence?

How do you get into a locked iPhone?

I just found my old iPhone 5c for my boyfriend to use because his phone is f***** so now he doesn't have one. But the phone has a passcode on it and I tried everything i could think of that the password might be and none of them are working. Is there a way I can get into the phone without taking it to the Apple store? If I have to do that I will but it's in the city and I don't go there often. And I can't get on Siri either because for some reason the phone has no service so therefore no internet. The time on the phone is also like totally messed up. Help me fix my iphone? It's acting strange, it stops playing my audio when I walk. Randomly starts/stops?

When I play podcasts it starts and stops on its own. It seems to stop randomly while I'm walking. When I'm on calls it keeps hanging up while I'm in the middle of talking.

Voice control pops up. I've had to disable siri because it kept popping up, but I have to enable it if I want to connect it to my car down the line. It keeps popping the voice control thing up, honestly not sure why it's so frustrating.

How to know if an iphone is paid off completely?

I'm turning 17 and I have one year before entering college. My friend buys phones and then sells them on ebay. He is making a whopping 15k each year doing this. I thought I may wanna try. I sold my first two phones and made 380 profit after all the ebay fees and such. This never really came into mind until now but when I meet up with the person I check the entire phone from head to toe. But how can I know if the phone that I'm buying is paid off completely? Checking the imei is one way to go but online imei checkers are not a hundred percent accurate. And remember i only buy iphones and not samsung. Disconnect two iphones?

Hello, I recently bought an iPhone 8 plus, and I already have an older iPhone 6.
My problem is the two phones are connected, if it rings here it rings there, if I get a message here I get the same message there, and all my contacts were deleted on the older phone but I was able to retrieve them, my problem is how do I disconnect the both of them?

What is the best cellphone provider for this situation?

College student graduating in a year with no job and some money saved. Have iphone, but don't care about model except it has to have LTE other than that i'm fine with any model with it. Only use it for occasional calls and texts, but mostly daily browsing and reading via safari.

What would be the best provider for my situation? At the moment on my parents verizon plan, but not sure if verizon is the best for my situation, any suggestions?
