Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings?

I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why?
This is the iPhone X!
Added (1). I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings.
I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?

Wifi works incredibly slow on iphone, but fine on other devices. What will

My phone works incredibly slow when it is connected to my wifi. I can't load youtube videos, Facebook or any other social media apps/websites. They sometimes load, but take forever that I just use LTE data. A wifi extender did not resolve this issue. My laptop and TV connect to the internet fine and all of my roommates don't seem to have this issue. Are there too many devices connected to the wifi (my two roommates have their phones, computers, TVs, and printers connected)? Is it just a problem with my phone? I checked the IP address and everything. I pay the wifi bill and it sucks that I can't even use it. Any tech-savvy people know what will help?

How can I move music from my iPhone to my laptop?

Earlier today, I had to do a surprise factory reset on my computer, and before doing so, I didn't have the chance to back up a lot of my data. So, any of the music that I had on my computer that wasn't from Itunes (transferred from CDs, purchased from online shops, etc) can only be accessed from my phone. In syncing with Itunes, all of the extra music on my phone will be deleted. This is okay for now, since I don't need to sync, but I know that eventually I will need to and I don't want to lose all of my music.
All that I can find online is information on how to move music from my computer to my Iphone. How can I do it the other way around?

Was I in the wrong for talking to professor about a project group-mate?

In my marketing class I was assigned a group project with two group-mates. We each agreed to do a different task and then they were going to send their parts to me to combine/edit for consistency.

One person sent her part on time (early actually), but the other did not sned her part by the agreed upon date (10/15).

On 10/17 I asked her about it and she said she would send it later that day.

As of 10/22 (our next class period) she still had not sent her part and I had planned on asking her about it during our pre-scheduled group meeting after class that day, but she left early, emailing us that she had a last minute appointment and could not meet that day - so I replied to her email asking for the missing work since I still hadn't received it.

As of today (10/24) I still had not received anything from her (and she did not reply to my email from 10/22 - even though all students are told to check their email daily and she had emailed me from her iphone in the past so I knew she had regular access to her emails, so I explained the situation to our professor who advised us to take over this group-mates part.
Minutes after I spoke with our professor I get an angry email from this group-mate saying how ridiculous and unprofessional it was for me to talk to our teacher and she claims that she did in fact send her part on 10/17, but when I replied apologizing and asked to to forward the original email she did not reply (which makes me think she did not really send it).

Why do I keep putting myself in debt?

I just realize I've got a habit of putting myself in debt. I just pre ordered my iPhone xr so that's $900 bucks I owe, I'm not really worried about that but already owe like $8000 in credit card debt and I'm 22! I just went to a Honda dealership and got me a Honda Accord 2018. I'm happy because it's my first real car. I've been driving my uncles hand me down 03 Malibu since I was 18. I'm appreciate the car ty en to me but I just needed something new but I owe $35k dollars now total debt. Mostly this new car and my credit card bills. But why do I keep doing this? Can I take a phone to the apple store for repair if I bought it second hand?

I've bought an iPhone X second hand from somebody online. The back is cracked so I purchased it for quite a lot cheaper than it's worth. The back camera works fine despite the crack and so does the front camera.

However I'm having an issue with Face ID and it's saying I can't set it up but I ran the serial number and the phone is still under hardware warranty.

Even though I didn't purchase the phone will I still be able to take it to apple for a repair.

Upgrading phone through Verizon, payments start over?

So, I've been thinking of upgrading from my Iphone X to the Xr, but I'm not exactly sure how it all works. I've paid $378.80 so far on my Iphone X, I would have to pay $126.20 to upgrade early, but my real question is, if I upgrade (trade-in) will that $378.80 that i've paid already go towards my new phone? Like if the full price of the new phone is like $1000 somthing, then will I already have up to &378.80 paid off on it, or will the payments basically start over? Like I ll have to start from scratch as I did when I first signed onto the contract?

My 2015 Chrysler 200 won't play my iPhone music when connected by USB?

The funny thing is when connected it brings up the songs title, artist, etc. And even shows the song is playing based on the time elapsed in the song. But no music is playing from the speakers. My Bluetooth works fine with playing the same music from the same device.

Iphone not respoding

i have an iphone 8 and it is frozen. It is letting me unlock it and look at notifications, but it won't let me go away from the screen you get when you double tap. I tried to hold down the power button to reset it, but it won't let me. I can swipe up and look at the control center, but i can't do anything.
