My boyfriend smashed his phone off a lamp post today with images of us and mug shots (lol) of me which i'm not too keen for people to be seeing. We went back later on to find a phone there with a sim gone. What exactly can they see of my boyfriends with just that iphone 5s sim? Also can we ever get those pictures back with no sim nor phone?

How do I convince my parents to get rid of family cat?

I don't want this cat. I didn't want him when we first got him. I wanted a guinea pig, but for Christmas my dad got me a stupid kitten. I was super happy, and asked how long we could keep it. He said until it died. I really don't want to wait until he dies, I want this cat gone now.

He sneezes light green gooey snot everywhere. He is expensive. He keeps me up until 5am every night. He is annoying and knocks everything down. He gets ME in trouble.

My dad makes ME get rid of the snot, blame ME for being up late and making noise (I'm in bed, the cat is destroying my room), the cat lives in my room (sleeps in here, eats in here, litterbox in closet, plays here), he destroys all my stuff (new iPhone 4s even though it's old, it was expensive at the time), and more!

I want him gone, but my dad puts all the blame on me. "Anon, it's your cat." "Well, don't ask me for a cat next time." I've really had enough. He's an okay cat and I love him, but I won't ruin my sleeping schedule and be screamed at for something that I think is a "decent cat."
Added (1). Okay, I didn't clarify this but IK someone will say something about it:
I won't be killing the cat.
And I won't make it run away.

It will be just taking him to a shelter and rehoming him.
Added (2). Please read the question. He is in my room at night. He can't be in the basement. He sneezes because he just does. We have went to 4 different vets, they all say something about him being born with it and might grow out of it. He's not sick. He's sneezed for 3 years. We had the cat for three years. I did get the guinea pig, and at the time, the cat didn't live in my room (again I CAN'T ask people to get him out) and he was a great pet. Much better than the cat.
Added (3). And I know, pets are a HUGE responsibility. That's why I researched and loved my guinea pig (an old one close to death I only had for 1 year, no one wanted it since it wouldn't get along with the other pigs). I do know pets are NOT toys. I do NOT want this cat for that reason. My family likes to hold it until it meows, vacuum its back, and spin it around.
I find it really stupid that people think that I think pets are toys. If I knew he was coming, I would research the cat.
Added (4). I'm not dumb. Do you think I want an animal in my room? NO! I WANT HIM GONE! Idiots these days, smh. I researched a guinea pig because I expected a guinea pig. I don't think you people can read very well…

I recently had a birthday and my parents got me an iPhone 8 Plus, I just think it's way too big. My old phone was an iPhone 5s and I prefer that phone because it's easy to hold and put in my pocket, I have never had a phone this big before, it looks like a tablet. What should I do? I bough an iPhone 6 on amazon and it just came in. I'm a little sketched out because from the moment i turned it on, i never saw the set up screen. (The one that says hello in multiple languages and allows you to start your phone)

How can i buy an adapter for this?

On amazon, i bought a pair of headphones that were usb-c by mistake. I use iphone and a pc computer, they don't have usb-c plugs. The headphones are usb-c and i'm trying to find an adapter that makes usb-c go to a 3.5mm audio jack. I want one where the usb-c side is "open" and the 3.5mm jack side is "closed" (no hole). I don't really know how to explain this, hope somebody understands.

Getting photos off of a dead iPhone?

I got a new iPhone December 2016 and had stopped using my old one then, although it had still worked perfectly besides normal old iPhone stuff (constant draining battery, etc). I have been trying to turn it on recently, and this thing is full-on dead it seems. Won't charge at all. I have a friend who is in the hospital and probably won't make it much longer, and I know I have pictures and videos of him on that phone. They were not in the iCloud or shared photos or whatever. My question is, if I were to bring this dead iPhone to an Apple tech support in the Apple store, is there any hope they can retrieve photos through some sort of software or opening the phone up or something? I figured the answer was no since iPhones don't have memory cards, just wondering if anyone knew if something like this was possible before I go all the way down to the store.

Can I re catch the flu if I don't disinfect household items?

So I just had the flu and I was wondering if I can re catch it by not disinfecting things like remote controls, iphones, couches, and my laptop? I'm having real bad anxiety over this but I'm too lazy to go buy disinfection wipes/sprays. If I can re catch it then I will go out but if I can't re catch it then I will stay home.

My iPhone alarm doesn't work if I've slept too little?

I tend to stay up late, like Really late. Back when I was in high school and I had morning classes, I would sometimes stay up until 4 to 5 am, set several alarms for 7 am and go to sleep, only to wake up at noon, miss the classes, get in trouble, you got it. Now, I have a job and I wake up at 10 to 11 am, so it hasn't been a trouble for me until today. I want to try and adapt to the Everyman sleep schedule, so yesterday, right before falling asleep at 3 am, I set my alarm to 6. And guess what, it didn't go off and I've slept till noon again.
Has anyone else faced this problem? Any ideas how to get around it?

After iphone 6s tired to update, it has an error code, telling me I have to plug my phone into itunes?

I turned on my Iphone 6s, and I haven't been wanting to update my iphone, because I heard that it slows your phone down. But anyways, I got a notification asking me if I wanted to update my phone, and I meant to pick later but i accidently clicked update. My phone turned off and went to the apple logo with a loading bar under it. I didn't want to update my phone, so I held the power button until it shut off, but then it turned on again, and started the whole loading thing again. I should have just let it update but I didn't, and then I held the volume and power button multiple times. It now won't stop turning off and back on, but it never gets passed the apple logo part. What do I do!

Hello. I don't know practically anything about phones or storage. But I get a text every few months saying "you have used all of the 1GB high speed data in your T-mobile data plan. You will experience slow speeds until…" whenever I get those messages my phone is extremely slow and I can't load most websites. My friend sent me a video but the quality is terrible?

So my friend has an IPhone. I'm not sure what type but it's for sure a newer type. I have a Samsung Galaxy. They showed me a video on their phone with perfect quality and perfect sound, and I wanted it. So they sent it to me, and the sound is good but the quality of the footage is terrible. It's EXTREMELY blurry and I can't see properly in it at all.
I really need this video. They tried sending it again but it just comes up the same way. What should I do?

IPhone X is on & locked, but won't unlock & screen won't lighten up. Its frozen?

I went to get food, starting my making a folder on my phone for Pizza, then when I got to naming it. It froze, after a bunch of button pressing trying to get it to show up again it never did. It occasionally unlocked but I think that was because of the FaceID recognition (only did it 2 times).

Anyways, is there a way I can let my phone be reset even though I can visualize what I do on the screen? It makes sound, is on, was never dropped. I don't know why I can't see my phone or get the lock screen to cooperate with me. :/
