Why do iPhone photos of myself stink, but flash looks good?

Whoever I take a pic of myself in the day, I think it looks awful. There are shadows under my eyes and my cheeks look puffy. It also seems like you can't get too far away from the camera. At night with flash, it looks great! Is it better to just use a regular camera for day pics?

What one of the workers told me was that, although the phone was completely compatible with the network, because Sprint runs on CDMA and Tmobile runs on GSM, even if I were to get my phone unlocked, it might not work 100% on the network all the time as opposed to using a phone purchased from Tmobile itself. Now I was kind of skeptical at first, thinking he's just saying this so I would have to spend a kidney on an entire new phone, but is this really true?

Non competitive stimming iPhone games?

I need a game that is not timed and doesn't have levels. The difficulty has be consistent. I just need to stim with a game that won't stress me out. Any advice?

The closest I've found was this game that gave me 6 letters and I had to try and make as many words as possible until I gave up and the game wouldn t let me level up until I paid extra (perfect for me) but then after playing for a week it demanded I pay for it to even play at all:/

Best phone plan to use while in Japan, already have (US) phone?

I already own a Straight Talk operated
iPhone that I planned to bring with me on my month-long trip to Japan. I know that I'm going to rely on it for directions, Google, calling, etc.HOWEVER, Straight Talk s international service plan does NOT include Japan.

That s a problem.

I have done a little bit of research on mobile wifi hotspot devices, international SIM cards, etc, but would appreciate advice with this dilemma.

My iPhone 5c will not turn on!

I took out my SIM card and tried to put it back in again because it was saying that I did not have one in there, even though I did, and the SIM card accidentally got stuck in the slot, without the insert tray… Not really thinking the whole thing through, I tried to get it out using a paper clip etc… But it was stuck. So I tried to pry open the screen of my phone using some tweezers and I got it open slightly enough so that i could see the inside of the phone and the battery, despite the two bottom screws still being inside. Once I did this and got the SIM card out and then pressed the screen back in, my phone screen went black but the light inside was still on. I tried turning the phone off after i propped the screen back in and now it will not turn back on! I think I may have broke it or something? Does anyone know how i could try to fix this myself, or if I'm gonna have to take it to the Apple store… Could i have maybe unplugged one of the wires to the battery when i pried it open? Help! Please

How to tell my mum I lost my second bus pass?

So recently, me and my mum have not been on great terms. No matter what I seem to do, she shouts at me. Earlier this month, my phone was broken by a shop I gave it to for safe keeping, as it wouldn t charge. As I didn't have a phone, my mum let me borrow her old iPhone 6s. The screen was coming detached and it had a crack at the top. My dad then got me a brand new iPhone 5s and I gave my mum back her phone. That day, when I came home from school she demanded my phone and when I asked why, she told me I d broken her phone when I hadn t. After school the next day, she complained that I didn't answer her text and when I told her she took my phone off me, she shouted at me for being rude. Then I went to school today and my bus was at the stop, I ran for the bus only to find my bus pass wasn t in my pocket. I checked everywhere for it and I couldn t find it. In England, a new bus pass is £10 (Aprox $14) and this is the second one I've lost. Do I tell my mum today, or wait until I go to my dads and come back?

IPhone screen won't work

iPhone was overheated. Let it cool down and it still doesn't work. I charged it fully and still nothing I also did the sleep/ volume down button an still can't turn it off. My home button has been broken so that's out. I can't restart it because I do not have acess to the code the pc sends .Help

I had a warning 7 months ago that my phone has breached and hacked. In my mind its fake or a random pop up. So, i kinda brushed it off.

What camera should I buy?

For as long as I've been taking photos, I have used my iPhone 5c. Not the greatest camera, but gets the job done. I'm now at the point where I would like to take photography up as a hobby. The camera would be used quite a bit for sports photography (basketball, athletics, etc), any thoughts?

The screen has a large water mark and the speakers don't work, but I can talk and listen to music via headphones. Other than that I don't think anything else is broken. Iphone health kit recording way too many steps?

I have a fitness watch with a corresponding app. I also have an app that tracks the distance of my runs and estimated calories burned, and another app that tracks how many calories I eat. I went on a 3.5 mile run this morning, and my health kit on the iPhone is saying I've taken 16,000 steps. There's no way. Are all of my health-related apps adding up the steps they separately record? How can I change this? My watch, which i never take off, says I have taken about 9,000, which sounds more accurate.

I called her today with my number hidden (i don't know how to explain that in English, I just put #31# in front of her number so that she won't be able to see the number that calls) and she answered it.

I was out with my family at goldon corral and I looked at my iFunny app to get rid of the notifications and afterwards I closed all my apps on my phone. Right after that we started to hear this beeping noise coming from somewhere, initially we thought it was a machine or something. I found out it was coming from my phone so I pull up the music tab from my home screen and it was playing this thing called datossnek.pro. I looked this up and almost nothing came up but pretty much all sources said that it was a virus of some sort. Can you guys please help me out?

My iphone 5c won't work

So, today I decided to do a stupid idea to take apart my phone. The reason I did this was because my home button wasn't working and my screen was popping out. I found out a few bolts fell out so I just screwed them back in. I closed up my phone and realized my phone wouldn't turn on. I held down just the power button, just the home button, both and other stuff. It won't vibrate or show anything. This is really bad timing and I don't have the time to take it somewhere and pay hundreds of dollars just to get it fixed. I called Apple, they have no clue. I might've done something to the battery/ Did anyone else every experience this? If so, please help!

i know that the phone is on because i hear the noises for notifications and plugging in the charger. I looked this problem up and found that a solution that worked for most people was to reset their phone by holding down their home button and lock button at the same time, but my home button has not worked for a while. Is there any other way to reset it or fix the screen?

I got my screen repaired but the camera seems to be dirty from when I had it broken (the glass from on top of the camera was cracked so i took the cracked pieces off). I'm wondering if I remove the screen to wipe the camera if I will be able to press the screen back down or if I would need glue.

I recently bought an iPhone and I'm having trouble activating it. The IMEI isn't blacklisted, but I can't get any service on the phone. Are third-party refusbished iPhones considered fake?

I had an iPhone stolen from me (Verizon; iPhone 6), and received a near-identical replacement model from Asurion. The iPhone I received works fine in every way, except Siri does not recognize voice input. (This is not a mic problem, the mic works fine for everything else) This is not really a problem for me, because I don't really use Siri, but it got me thinking…

I googled it, and it seems Asurion makes their "refurbished" iPhones out of any available parts, often using third-party replacement parts not made by Apple, resulting in a Frankenstein-like combination of parts. I also heard many horror-stories about people receiving iPhones from Asurion with no Apple logo on the back, or ones that run a version of Android OS skinned to resemble Apple's iOS.

Lucky for me, my iPhone has an Apple logo on the back, and as far as I can tell, seems to be running a genuine version of iOS 10.1. But what seems suspicious is that the printed IMEI is blacked out, with a new one printed underneath. People on the internet say that Asurion replacements are often not recognized by Apple as genuine iPhones.

This leads me to two questions
1. Would Apple consider this to be a fake iphone and refuse to service it?
2. If I update iOS, will it be "bricked" by Apple? (see attached article)

How to consume podcasts using only a windows 10 laptop and an MP3 player?

I want to start listening to some regularly scheduled podcasts and I understand that this can be achieve automatically using RSS and some kind of podcast manager tool. However, I don't have a smart phone or an itunes account and I don't intend to get them either.

What I do have is a Windows 10 Laptop (with internet obviously) and a lapel clip size MP3 player, to which I'm prepared to hand copy over a weeks worth of updates (say) at a time, for mobile listening.

My problem is that I don't really understand the process by which podcast downloading can be automated, and particularly if you don't have an iphone or similar.

I pretty much only use chrome as a browser but I guess I could leave a different one running if that helped.

Can someone give me any advice please?

I once got frustrated and hit the phone on the heel of my hand which actually made it unfreeze, so I just continued to do that, but the freezing has become more frequent. I've tried turning the phone off and back on, doing a hard reboot, and resetting the settings, but nothing has seemed to work. Added (3). If there's nothing I can do to save this phone, I can remove the SIM card and place it in my old iPhone 5s. But my current phone has 64 GB (I believe I'm using about 30 GB) and the 5s only has 16, so would half of my files just get deleted?

Can't remember passcode?

I got a new phone (the iPhone 6) and I keep getting a box pop up every few seconds saying sign in to iTunes Store or something like that and it's annoying that I have to keep dismissing it. I would put in the passcode but it's an email I made ten years ago and I don't remember the passcode for apple or gmail so there's no way of recovering it. My phone should be registered under my current email, (like it says it is in settings) but I can't download anything and some of my apps won't completely load. I would also like if the box would stop popping up. Gmail doesn't have any way to contact them and last time I called apple, they were no help.

Can I get my apple earphones to work with my windows laptop?

Hi! I've been googling for hours and I can't solve this issue. My laptop has a combo mic/earphone jack and I have a pair of apple mic/sound combo speakers that apple gives you when you get an iPhone. I want to use these earphones for Skype. Either my laptop is stupid and doesn't realize I have headphones in and there's a mic embedded in my earphones or something's up. Iphone 6s plus or the newest iphone?

So I don't have a phone right now because it broke so I wanted to buy an iphone 6s plus which I would buy with my own money. My parents asked me if I wanted to buy it now or wait until November when there's a deal on the newest iphone.
I of course said now because I can't go 6 months without a phone. But now they're trying to force me to wait until black Friday to buy the newest iphone 7s which they said they would pay for. I personally don't think that is a good deal when I have to go 6 months including all of summer without a phone when I could save $600 and buy the 6s plus now?
The main reason they don't want me to get the 6s plus is BC they think it will be OLD and not the newest design… But the iphone 8 is coming out at the same time as the iphone 7s and the iphone 8 will be much more expensive so I'll have to get the 7s which won't even be the most high tech phone since the 8 will be the most high tech out…

How to copy to non purchase music from Itunes?

Hello!

So my problem is this. I have been using an ipod for years now but have decided to move my music over to my phone because it's easier and my ipod is getting older now. Well problem is I don't have an IPhone (i'm a Samsung user).
Well I'm having trouble putting the non purchase iTunes music from my iTunes library (music I have gotten from CDs and things throughout the years). I see the purchase music in the iTunes folder on my computer and have successful transfer it to my phone.
How do I copy the non purchase music from my iTunes library to a folder in my computer? I click on a single song and it has the copy option. But I try to paste it the folder on my computer and it doesn't work. I have even tried dragging a song onto my desktop. Nothing is copying.
What can I do?

When I try to charge my iPhone it will say "this accessory may not be supported." I went to Apple and they tried to reset the settings and the whole phone, but it still did not work. I have tried different chargers too and even at Apple I tried to charge my phone using all the chargers there too. What can I do to fix it? When I charge my phone I have to completely turn it off and it is starting to bug me now.
