Added (1). lock, and volume buttons still work, but the phone just doesn't respond to any touch. I once got frustrated and hit the phone on the heel of my hand which actually made it unfreeze, so I just continued to do that, but the freezing has become more frequent. I've tried turning the phone off and back on, doing a hard reboot, and resetting the settings, but nothing has seemed to work. I've tried to research it online and found that I should reset the phone completely, but before I found the time to
Added (2). do that, my phone decided to stop charging beyond 1%, and now I can't back it up onto my computer because it keeps dying in the middle of the process. I don't want to clear it without backing it up because I'd lose so many photos. Why is this happening? Is there any solution?
Added (3). If there's nothing I can do to save this phone, I can remove the SIM card and place it in my old iPhone 5s. But my current phone has 64 GB (I believe I'm using about 30 GB) and the 5s only has 16, so would half of my files just get deleted?
