I bought a phone on ebay with a cracked screen. I had erased the previosu owners information off the phone (because they had not done it) and I submitted a repair request for apple. I filled it out with my name. I got an email later on with the previous owner's name on it about the repair. I'm assuming that Apple had determined with the serial number or IMEI that he was still the owner. Is there anyway to change this?
