IPhone 6s system taking up too much storage?

I have an iPhone 6s. Had it about a year. Recently I ran out of storage, I checked my settings and it says the "system" is taking up most of it. I read some articles that said to update it to newest update, factory reset it(as a new phone), and I've done everything. Right after I factory reset it, I checked the storage and nothing changed with the system. Can anyone help? It's taking up 5.43 GB out of 16 GB. I really want to keep my current phone!

How can I get my phone back, please help? ITS BEEN A MONTH?

I got my phone taken up because I begged my mom to go to my boyfriends house but she said so so i begged some more and she got mad and said no. So i didn't go.
When she came home from work she talked to me about how disrespectful I'm and how she doesn't want me going.
Then she took my phone and read all my messeges including the ones with my boyfriend and at one point he said "UGH I'm gonna kill someone" as an expression and she got super mad at that. Then I deleted everything off my phone from find my iPhone and she got even more mad. I wrote her a super long letter telling her i'm sorry and how ill change and i've apologized to her in person.
I'm in highschool and I really need my phone for extracurricular activities after school and in most of my classes. I've been struggling recently without my phone and I really need it but she doesn't seem to understand. Please help.
I'm generally a good kid. I make high A's. And i try not to make my mom mad but sh always ends up frustrated at me so we argue often. But this time she really blew up.

Can Bluetooth 4.2 connect to Bluetooth 5.0?

I'm planning to buy the next generation of Apple Watch when it's released (September), because it's most likely going to come with Bluetooth 5.0. However I have an iPhone 7 Plus right now which has Bluetooth 4.2 . So will I still be able to pair up the devices?

Will resetting iPhone from Settings menu clear the viruses?

I bought an iPhone second-hand. The previous owner claimed that it had a "virus". I know a virus on an iPhone is very unlikely, but considering I'm planning on using this iPhone to check my bank account, I want to make sure there are no viruses. I have Linux, and iTunes is not available for Linux, so I can't restore with iTunes. Would going to Settings and resetting it get rid of this "virus"?

How to transfer music off of iPhone?

I've tried using iTunes to put my music on another non-Apple device, but iTunes isn't working on my computer. I've tried to uninstall it & download it again, but that doesn't work either.

Why did sos online back up service try contacting me by phone?

Months ago, i signed up for sos online back up service, paid for it… And tried backing up my personal media files with it… But it was too complicated, and i couldn't fully understand what to do… And i just decided that online back was not for me at the time… So i uninstalled sos online back software from my computer and phoned my bank to cancel and future payments to sos online back service.

and i thought that was that.

but just the other day i got a phone call on my iphone from a number in the states, i'm in the uk… I didn't know who it was from at the time and didn't answer it… But i just checked my email now, and i got an email telling me someone from sos online back up tried contacting me by phone… Hence the call to my mobile iphone the other day.

but i'm wondering why someone from sos online back up would be calling me? And what for?

if i knew it was them calling me at the time i would've answered it, to see what they wanted, but i only just found out it was them now by checking my email.
