my mom gave me her old iphone (1st gen) and of course it doesnt have battery, so when i go to plug it in it turns on with the no battery logo then straight to the apple logo, it only stays their for a couple of seconds then turns back off? I have it connected to the computer, still doesnt seem to work. A couple of times it has stared up fine, but then in a couple of minutes of charging it turns off. Dont really know what else to do? Ive tried to hold the power and home button but that only helps turn off the phone.
