So my daughter is 14 years old, turning 15 in a few weeks. She is a straight A student, and she's nice and polite. We are close with each other. I asked what she wanted for her birthday, and she said maybe an iPhone 5c, but she said it's completely fine if I don't get her one. She currently does not have a cellphone. I can afford to get her one, and I think maybe I should award her for being good. But I'm also cautious if she'll be too glued to her phone, start sexting, see bad things online, etc. What should I do?
