Using iPhone camera to record movies?

Hey guys,

I want to use my iPhone camera to film long videos for a project, but my phone simply doesn't have sufficient space to store those videos as I'm making them. Is there a way to film on iPhone but have the recording go directly to a Mac so the clip isn't cut off because the iPhone can't store it? Like, stream the video from the phone directly onto my computer and save it there without using iPhone storage?

Added (1). I don't want to have to stop and upload every time the phone storage fills up, so you know! The point is so I don't have to patch all kinds of little clips together and stop filming multiple times.
