Video on IPhone 6 camera roll won t play?

I took a video or a dance team on my iPhone 6. About an hour later, I went and tried to edit it and cut it shorter (through the iPhone camera roll edit) when k was done cutting I chose the option to trim original video. It took forever to load so I canceled it and tried again, it took forever again so I canceled and closed out of the camera roll app and tried again. This time it kinda worked but NOW it doesn t show how long the video is and when I try to play it, it doesn t play and the loading circle thingy comes up on it. I tried deleting it and then recovering it from my recently deleted, I tried restarting my phone, and so far nothing has worked.
