My iPhone 5s is turning purple?

So two days ago I cracked the top of my screen where the cameras at then after that I accidently dropped my phone in water. I know it sounds really bad but my phone was only in the water for like 5 seconds and right after that I put it in rice, but yesterday my phone started turning purple. It has purple vertical lines going through my phone and some of the letters on the keyboard don't work. It also turns all purple and I would have to turn my phone off and back on and it would go away. I've dropped my phone in water before and this has never happened before. I was wondering if there was any way I could fix this or if I would have to buy a new screen?
