Someone recorded me illegally on their iphone audio recorde?

Ok here are all the details, i had a friend that agreed to be a FINANCIAL backing for my business and said he wants to consider himself my partner so i told him thats fine but lets get started with my corporation already so theres no more wasted time on startup and waiting on corporation papers, so the business didnt work out as planned, i paid back every single penny he put in and took a loss myself and now hes upset and and wants to take me to court because he thought he was my legal partner example on paper and he said that he has my voice recorded saying that ya you could be my partner but i had no knowledge of the recording
