I currently have the iPhone 6 and it's buyback value is about $200, maybe less. If I get that much and buy myself an unlocked phone, I know I would have to pay for that phone I want. And then I have to choose a different carrier for that unlocked phone depending on its sim card and data. I am actually on a family plan right now with my mom and the bill is worth $160 every month. Can I take myself out of that family plan and get that unlocked phone? Would this save more money monthly if I got an unlocked phone?
