What's up with my Apple account & how can I fix it?

So I bought a new iPad a few weeks ago. Everything was going fine until I tried purchasing some music from the iTunes store.It asked me some security questions - which I thought I got right, but I must have got them wrong and forgot, because apparently they weren't right… Then I was banned for a few hours from purchasing anything.
Anyway, my iPhone is fine with downloading things from the App and iTunes store, its just I can't on the iPad because of these repeated security measures of asking me security questions because it's a new Apple device I've got, right? How can I fix this problem, I want to be able to download stuff directly to me iPad.
