Police entered my home? Australia / uk help?

Hi,
11pm 6 police offices burst into my home im asleep ive jumped out of bed damaged ornaments in my house the police are yelling and screaming at me to get on the floor. They go on to tell me that they are looking for a iphone 6.

They search the entire house for a iphone 6, I ask where there warrant is to which they reply " do you want us to come back with a warrant and rip your house apart"

Ive stolen nothing, committed no crime, the police glaced in every room and left me with damages and no explanation?

Uh? Help? How are they allowed to enter my home damage my stuff and disappear? Why did they think theres a phone in my house?

im in australia but mentioned UK as laws are similar presumably.
