Why do women worship celebrities?

They obsess about what they wear, what they eat, how "attractive" they look. And they like to copy celebrities i.e if their favourite celeb has an iphone then they buy an iphone.

Then they gossip amongst each other about whose dating who and what they wear to events and say things like "omg I can't believe she wore that".

They treat celebrities like they're gods and that they epitomise the definition of "perfect" and if anyone doesn't dress, act or look like celebrities they are "ugly" in their eyes.

FYI: For those SJW(social justice warriors) who will accuse me of "generalizing" women keep in mind that men get stereotyped and generalized all the time.
