The reason i ask is because my friend wants to sell it to me for $300 but i wanna make sure you can use it on Verizon since that's my carrier.
Added (1). How do you unlock it? And are you sure because some you cannot unlock, like you would not be able to use the Sprint iPhone 5 on Verizon.
