So basically, my girlfriend bought an iphone 5 & within 4-5 months she broke the power button! So she can't lock her phone or turn it off without letting it auto lock or letting it run out of battery!
I know about the reset trick where you hold the power button & the home button for like 8 seconds & it resets it, but obviously I can't do that!
MAJOR problem. She had to do an update on the phone & she proceeds to download it & it comes up with that white screen with the apple logo underneath & the status % bar of the download! But for some stupid reason the phone has decided to freeze on that screen! So we can't think of any way of turning it off!
It has 98% battery life atm, which is a long time to wait for it to run out of battery as it's clearly not downloading or even consuming any power!
So I was wondering if there is a way to plug it into her mac or computer or anything at all someone could suggest to restart the phone!
No sarcastic bull answers please!
