I bought an iPhone 5s used a few weeks ago and the fingerprint scanner and home button were replaced by the previous owner. It works as a home button but the sensor doesnt work. I was planning on buying one on Amazon but all the reviews said the sensor doesnt work. I did some research and found that each sensor is specifically paired to its original device and devices will not work with any other sensors. Is there any way to get one that works (from apple maybe?) or make the replacement work?
