IPhone 5 can't connect to iTunes store!

Just got an iPhone 5 and I've been experiencing difficulty in connecting with App Store. Like I'd go on it, then I'd see the thumbnail of the apps, but when I click on one, to get to the details, it always says "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store". And it's not that I don't have internet because I can tweet, go instagram and surf the net. Anyway, I get to install apps though, when I click on "install" in the thumbnail view. But once I click on it, it's gone. I tried quitting App Store and relaunching and it would load the page but when I go to another app details page, it goes "cannot connect to itunes store" again.

I tried doing that "Setting back one year" trick but it didn't work for me. My main concern isn't really Passbook. It's App Store itself and I don't really want a phone that performs sub par. Does anyone experience this too?
