I have an old laptop that will no longer power on. There is a 2.5" SATA HD in the laptop. After researching on the web I saw that they make hard drive enclosures that you can pop in a 2.5" hard drive into, making it an external hard drive. So basically can I buy one of these enclosure device and then buy a USB to lightning cable cord and then hook it up to my iPhone 6+ and extract files from what is stored on that old laptop hard drive?
