I recently upgraded to an IPhone 6S, and I'm looking to sell my iPhone 5C. I want to unlock my phone, and online it says that Verizon users have to call Verizon. But other places say that iPhones aren't locked and you just need to remove the SIM card. So if I remove the SIM card do I still have to call Verizon? The phone has already been disconnected from my phone number
