Hi last night i was at a halloween night out on a ghost tour and in between tours (i went on 2 tours) me and my boyfriend went to the cafe to get something to drink i got a diet coke paid for it and drunk half of it and put it in my bag were my beloved iphone 4 and kindle were i didnt realise there was a tiny hole in the bottle.then i noticed leaking from my handbag i took the bottle out and nearly half of the contents were spilt in my bag :( i took out my phone and kindle dried them off put them in my pocket and done the next tour.when i got home i turned on my kindle first it was fine then i turned on my phone and the first thing i noticed was the volume kept on going up and down by itself them it would turn off and on then it took ages to text people and to enter my lock screen password.i'm so peeved off about it :(
someone told me to put it in a bowl of rice to dry it out for 24hr and my mum told me that i should've dried it out when it first happened but i didnt know that :(
will my phone be fine once i turn it off and put it in a bowl of rice for 24hr then charge it up and turn it on? i really hope so a i wont be able to get a new iphone til after christmas :( and i need that phone to do my youtube beauty videos on.
please help and should i put in a claim against the place for selling me a diet coke bottle with a hole in it? i'm not sure what to do :(
