My mom received a free verizon iPhone 4 for work a few years ago and it has not been on a plan in a long time. It has a lock code that no one remembers and I am in the process of restoring it to factory defaults. I do not want to activate this phone and put it on a plan. I simply want to know if it is possible to use this iPhone as a mobile internet device just using wifi. Im assuming I would have to jailbreak the phone to achieve this even if it is possible. Is this possible? Thanks.
