So I have an iphone 4S on the 3 network, and live in London. Generally, network and 3G coverage are excellent and I can watch youtube etc, rarely needing to use wifi. However, whenever I lose signal e.g by going through a tunnel or leaving my phone in gym locker, it takes AGES (like, 5-10 minutes) to get signal back - even when outside. The only way I can get it back instantly is by turning off and restarting my phone, which is a pain in the backside. Any ideas what the problem might be or how I can get signal back faster?
