I've been wanting to build/design my own game for a while now though i've never known where to start or what software to use. Can anyone give me any ideas and thoughts on what to do or if there are any books out there that can help me out? I don't expect it to be easy and i don't mind if it's hard and time consuming. Thanks in advance.
