Ok so i haven't lost my iphone or anything, but i was just wondering what would happen in the event i did lose it or it was stolen, how would i track it?
Well for a start i know there is the apps like "find my iphone" but for that to work you need to have GPS enabled on your phone and hope to god the thief didn't turn it off because if he did then obviously it renders the app useless
So i was thinking about different methods to tracking it, some form of chip you could place inside your phone so that if it was stolen you didn't need to rely on the phone to be on to track it, you could use the chip instead (because the thief wouldn't be able to get into the phone to remove it)
So does anyone know if there is anything like that for iphones? or chips that size that could be fitted to an iphone?
