I'm reminded daily that I'm dying slowly of a disease that is worse than cancer, that kills more gay people than straight people in the USA, a country that hates me and is full of heterosexuals who use iPhones to show their hatred. You see, I was born a decade after AIDS was discovered and can only think why my parents would even bring me into a world that hates me, where a disease with no end in sight continues to ravage hundreds of thousands of gays, that hates me for being gay. I hope some day, a hundred years from now, young gay people won't have to deal with this disease.
