So im going to get the iphone 5 but i dont know whether or not to get it brand new/sim free of ebay for £400 or brand new/sim free from carphone warehouse for £500.
With ebay its £100 cheaper which of course is a positive thing, but here is my question, what if the iphone 5 is a contract phone &/or an upgrade phone and the seller/contract owner cancels and/or stops paying the contract?
Dose the iphone 5 get block/barred even though the original contract sim that the seller has is not in the iphone 5? also ive heard that phones can be blocked/barred via the imei, is this true?
Ive asked about 15 sellers on ebay and 9 of which are top rated sellers and they either just ignore the question/me or reply saying it was a contract phone, but they never answer the question straight.
This is my worry and this is why im asking this question and this is why im tempted to pay an extra £100 and get it from carphone warehouse so i dont have to worry about any of this as i do suffer from aniexity and its really playing on my mind.
Also i will be choosing a best answer for this question
