Dropped iPhone in water and now speakers have gone funny?

So I was brushing my teeth and had my phone in my left hand, the water was running in the sink and I dropped the phone and it was in there for four seconds max (it was hard to get out for some reason). And yes I know I shouldn't have had my phone with me when brushing my teeth, I'm aware it was silly. Anyway I dried my phone the best I could and everything seems fine and works- except for the speaker. When volume is at its highest the music or sounds playing go static and sound terrible. This incident only happened fifteen minutes ago by the way. What can I do? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks:)
