Vertical videos not syncing from iPhone to laptop?

I have an iPhone 6 and an HP laptop with windows 8. When I plug my phone into my laptop it always imports all my photos and videos. Today I decided to look through all the pictures and videos I took from a concert, but only about half of the videos were on my laptop. The half that were on the laptop were the ones recorded horizontally, or in landscape mode. None of the videos I took vertically, or in portrait mode, were imported. The videos are still on my phone and I never deleted/recovered them or anything. They ve always been with the rest of the pictures and videos from that night. To test the theory that only vertical videos weren t being imported, I checked in another album where I knew was supposed to be some videos in portait mode. Again, all the horizontal videos were present, but none of the vertical videos were there. The only vertical videos that wefe imported were ones taken from Snapchat. I m very confused because the vertical and horizontal videos were all filmed the same way with the same Camera app for around the same length of time. The only difference was the phone orientation. Is there anyway I can get my laptop to import vertical videos? Thanks.
