I've had my iphone officially unlocked and placed on T-Mobile service.No jailbreaking was involved; pretty much I restored my phone and gave it to my dad to take to T-Mobile for them to do their thing. When I got it back, there were no signs of jailbreaking, such as no cydia, except that everything has been wiped from my iphone (which sucks).Is it ok to update my unlocked iphone since it seems no jailbreaking occurred? Also, is there a way to view all of my contacts on iTunes? I don't know how to get them back because iTunes now recognizes my iPhone as a completely new and different iPhone.
