Currently I am using a point and shoot camera, and I was wondering if I invested in a DSLR camera if I would be able to figure out how to use it without taking any kind of class. Would I be able to figure it out well enough from just the manuals? I will be taking a photography class at school this year, but I don't believe the class will teach me how to use a camera, as most of the students will probably just take their photos with their iPhones. However, I actually care about my photo quality.
So, are they relatively easy to understand with a little practice?
