I have an iPhone that was dropped in water and was planning on giving it to my boyfriend after getting it fixed. He already has a contract with AT&T with the $10 add a line. I was wondering with unlocking the iPhone, turning off the data usage and putting his own SIM card, that he wouldn't have to be charged the $25 data plan. His sister also has an iPhone and doesn't have a data plan and can only use wifi and was wondering if I could do the same thing for him.
