So I recently bought a data plan which allows me to buy a phone from at&t at a discounted price. I already have a HTC one which I bought from ebay so I was thinking of selling the gold iphone 5s to make a profit. However, they told me I couldn't sell it because the purchaser wouldn't be able to use it. I don't understand… If I take out the SIM card from the phone, it's just a phone body… so wouldn't anyone be able to use it? Therefore, I would still be able to sell it on ebay?
Can someone please explain this to me? Is it possible to still sell the phone?
