I keep reading how people get scammed on sites like Ebay. For example, they buy an iPhone, pay with Paypal, but then they realize that they were scammed because the iPhone never got sent…
Pretty easy scam as you can see.
But… The victim now has the name and Email of the Paypal account that the money got sent to, so isn't that enough information for the police to find out where that money went to and perhaps even arrest the suspect?
So how do so many people get scammed? Where does their money go to? Someone must be the owner of those Paypal account, so why can't they locate that person?
