My iphone 4 button just suddenly got stuck and will not work so I used a app which allows me to switch it on and off but yesterday I tried to go on it and it was off and when I plug the charger in nothing happens. Is it broken? Or if I got the button repaired would it work again?

Added (1). I also plugged my usb into my laptop and nothing happened.
Added (2). I have heard about holding down the power button and the home key, but for me its impossible as the on/off button is stuck.
